Register Now for These Unique Conferences

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Register NOW for the big, giant near-death conference to be held August 30-September 2 in Bellevue, Washington. Sponsored by IANDS, this one will feature “The Aftereffects.” Yes, I’m going. For you to come too, register on www.iands.org, or call the office at services@iands.org. Their phone is (919) 383-7940.

A conference on Co-Creative Spirituality, sponsored by the Findhorn Foundation in Findhorn, Scotland, is September 22-28. Yes, this is the famous gardens of Findhorn, where, after decades of breaking all rules about gardening in sandy soil in the cold northlands of western Scotland, they are now devoted to “growing people,” passing on to others how to use their methods of working with angels and fairies in the Unseen Worlds. I’ve been there. The place is truly magic, and wondrous, and more than incredible. The conference webpage is www.findhorn.org/programmes/co-creative-spirituality. Any questions, contact editor@findhorn.org.

“Consciousness Continues” is a video project of Heather Dominguez that has several sections. The whole program is masterful. Heather is certainly a very creative and clever producer who has given all of us an opportunity to view near-death experiences in a unique way. Episode 2 is now on Amazon and available to rent. New Book by PMH, Spiritual Retreat for NDE'ers

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
  • Next month, April 2017, is the debut of A Manual for Developing Humans, the third book I was told to write during my third near-death experience.  It has taken me nearly 40 years to get to this point, do the job, and ready it for delivery.  The book is about you and it is for you.  On March 13, 2017, a Special Announcement will go out to everyone on my newsletter subscriber list.  If you do not subscribe, no problem.  All issues are archived.  Just go to the Newsletter section of www.pmhatwater.com, open up the archive, and download the Announcement.  One way or another you can get it.  Please post it everywhere, send to any person or place you can think of, share it as broadly and as often as you can.  No limits.  Let everyone know.

Don’t forget about the Spiritual Retreat for Near-Death Experiencers, April 20-23, in St. Louis, MO.  I’ve attended two of these and I can say wholeheartedly, going there was one of the best decisions I’ve made.  The affair is located in a Catholic Retreat Center that is perfect for prayer, reflection, exploration, and discovery.  And you will be with other experiencers the whole time, like a special family sharing moments difficult to describe to anyone else.  If you’re interested in going, contact Eric Cusimano, cusimanoeric@yahoo.com or David Bennett, dharmadb@icloud.com

New Thought, Psi, Retreats, Conferences, and the Buddha

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • There is now an outstanding “new thought” channel put out as a guide to spiritual living, and featuring Mitch Horowitz, one of Tarcher’s editors. Details: www.newthoughtchannel.com.
  • New online Psi Encyclopedia has a section devoted to Near-Death Experiences. Researchers in this first edition are Penny Sartori, Carlos S. Alvarado, Nancy Evans Bush, and journalist Patricia Pearson. See: http://www.spr.ac.uk/publications/psi-encyclopedia.
  • Spiritual Retreat for near-death experiencers April 20-23 at the Mercy Center in St. Louis, MO. Details: www.nderetreat.com.
  • Save now for the next big near-death conference put on by IANDS, August 3-6 in Westminster, Colorado. Inquire at services@iands.org or call them at (919) 383-7940.
  • A “must read” new book: The Buddha in Hell and Other Alarms: Distressing Near-Death Experiences in Perspective by Nancy Evans Bush. Behind all the joyful personal stories of being close to death and going to heaven, there is a rarely discussed fact: that a significant minority of near-death experiences are unpleasant. Please read this. One out of 7 in my research had more frightening or hellish experiences than heavenly, a few of them were children.

*** This Easter, a major motion picture is coming out entitled "Heaven is for Real." It is the true story of Colton Burpo and his near-death experience at age four. He returned to life with insight and abilities that shocked his family. His dad Todd was a fundamentalist minister. The trailer to the movie can be viewed now - http://youtu.be/N-ewaCVARtM . Excellent acting!

*** Now available is the book The Wisdom of Near-Death Experiences by Dr. Penny Sartori. It has been published by Watkins in England, but you can get it here too. Dr. Sartori is a nurse. When working on her doctorate, she tackled the near-death cases around her and throughout the medical community. And she did follow- throughs. She is the first such researcher to validate what I found with tiny ones, that even babies can have NDEs and remember them overtime.

*** Sign up now for the Spiritual Retreat for Near-Death Experiencers. It will be held May 15-18 at the Mercy Center in St. Louis, MO. Limited space. Register with Linda Jacquin jacadv@centurytel.net, Bill Taylor wmmtaylor@gmail.com, Eric Cusimano cusimanoeric@yahoo.com, or David Bennett dharmadb@mac.com.

A L E R T

WHEN I AM TRAVELING I DO NOT ANSWER E-MAILS. CONTACT MY WEBMASTER IF THERE IS SOMETHING YOU THINK I MUST KNOW RIGHT AWAY. STEFF'S ADDRESS IS webmaster@cinemind.com. Because of the way my mind now works, I focus fully on wherever I am, and do not flip back and forth too well. My last day answering e-mails will be April 18th. I will not be back online until May 6th. Should the backup be too large, I may not be able to answer everyone when I return. Please keep that in mind. I do apologize in advance for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause you. (Maybe in a future life my brain will toggle like a teenager, but not this time around. Chuckle.)

Thank you, PMH

Buddhist Conference, NDE Reseach & Retreat, and German NDE Network

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Time-sensitive - May 8 thru May 11 the International
Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) will again
be hosting a spiritual retreat for experiencers of
near-death states. This unique experience will be
held in the Mercy Center near St. Louis, MO. If you
are interested in knowing more, access this website -
www.neardeathexperiencers.org. There is a limit of
30 people who can attend. SIGN UP NOW! I was lucky
enough to attend once. It was like experiencing the
Holy of Holies, where many of our near-death episodes
lead us, in the beauty and joy of each other's hearts.

NDE Research Index - For anyone who has gone searching for
solid information about the phenomenon, you know how
difficult it can be to find what you want. IANDS has
prepared an NDE Research Index that covers all papers
and English-language articles on the subject between
1877 and 2005. That's 128 years of information! For
information on how to use and the cost of doing so,
access www.iands.org/bibcd.html.

Large Buddhist Conference held last December in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia, covered "Closer to Reality: Understanding
Death and Beyond." They had several sessions on near-
death and out-of-body experiences, and on children's
spontaneous past-life recall. This was a scholarly
event. To learn more, access www.c2rc.org/.

German NDE Network - At the January 2009 meeting of IANDS-
Munich, 110 people attended of which 40% were near-
death experiencers. Speakers were Pim van Lommel, M.D.
and Evelyn Elsaesser-Valarino. This group is growing
in numbers. If you are interested in attending their
meetings or want to know more about them, contact Alois
Serwaty at netzwerk-nahtoderfahrung@t-online.de or
Thomas Angerpointner at Angerpointner@t-online.de.
For what is going on in other countries, contact IANDS at
www.iands.org.
