*** This announcement is a little more involved. It concerns a project of Eileen Tapper-McKelvey that concerns Miscarriage Bereavement. She is a near-death experiencer herself, and was quite taken that my first death/near-death state came from a miscarriage. She has created “The B.I.R.T.H. Model Curriculum for Miscarriage Bereavement” that includes a simple, almost child-like book she wrote called Into the Clear Blue Sky, and a manual on how to use the book in therapy. She has applied for a grant for enough money to start training programs. The work she has already done on this project is quite astounding. She is especially interested in providing counseling for the uninsured. In my research of near-death states, a whooping 70% of women had theirs in conjunction with either a miscarriage, birth, or a hysterectomy. I would add rape to that.
