An Important New Book

Pim van Lommel, M.D. has just come out with his book, “Endless Consciousness: A Scientific Vision on the Near-Death Experience.” The Dutch event announcing his book was attended by over 400 people. Dr. van Lommel headed the largest clinical, prospective study yet done on the near-death experience, which was published in Lancet Medical Journal, 12-15-01. Since then, he has become outspoken in his stance that the phenomenon verifies the continuation of consciousness outside the body and after death. In 2008, the Dutch version will be translated into English for wider distribution.

This is the book that Pim was referring to when he spoke on the "Toward the Light" radio show on 14 October 2007. An archive of that show is now up on its site (where people can listen to it for free; although donations to support the show are encouraged) at .

Just scroll down his page and you'll see the link that says 'Listen to Pim van Lommel 14Oct07!' Enjoy!

And here's a quote about the book received from 'Johanna' in Holland:

“Pim's book is so good, it reads like a train, as we say in Holland. He mixes his research with history and stories of NDE-ers of course. I was at the presentation last Saturday and it was a moving happening. Pim's daughter sang a beautiful song. The general atmoshere was so happy!

Again, the book is very well written, I am half-through now. The first print is already sold out!

Is it not amazing how fast consciousness is raising these days... We live in such a beautiful time. Lately I lectured two times in a church in Holland on Sunday morning. That was a very moving experience for me. The same church who numbed me 55 years ago and later, now asked me to lead the service. I cried when I got the invitations. The circle is round, I thought, and felt very grateful.”
