Make Your Book

I encourage all child experiencers of near-death states to "make their book." There is something very personal and very healing about a child creating a book of some type about what happened to him or her. Not only does the book become an important record for the child, just making it can be as transformational as the experience itself. Even if the child is now grown, making such a book validates the experience as nothing else can. If you have done this or you know of someone else who has, please, may I have a copy of what you have done? Thank you in advance for such a treasured gift. --PMH

Kevin, I am sorry you are dying of cancer. I do not know how old you are, but that’s a rough verdict nonetheless.

Yes, there is a lot of goodness in you. There always was and there still is. What you call bad, the mistakes you’ve made, you will review either before you die or afterward. One way or another, we face who we are and what we have made of ourselves. It is much wiser to clear up “unfinished business” before death comes, if you can. If you cannot, well, don’t worry about it. You’ll get another opportunity later.

There’s a lot about death on my website, especially two brief articles - “What it feels like to die” and “What death is.” Both of these pieces are a summary of comments made by over 3,000 near-death experiencers after they had died and later revived. I know these articles will give you solace and hope, and much comfort. Know that your birth, your entry into this world, was blessed – no matter the conditions of your birth; and that your death – no matter how you die or in what state, is also blessed. You are not your body. You are a soul, a living, breathing spark of the Divine. No matter how many mistakes you’ve made, it’s never too late to forgive yourself and to forgive everyone else who has ever been a part of your life. Forgiveness does not absolve responsibility, but it does rekindle the truth of our being and allow us to begin the process of healing, of becoming honest and truthful.

I wish you could get my book, “We Live Forever” – perhaps from your local library. It will help you in many ways.

Know that God loves you, now and always. Blessings, PMH
